I've just started reading The Pillowbook by Sei Shonagon. I'm pretty curious about that book, as it's from writings from the 10th century, which has been quite a while. I'm really eager to read about this completely different culture and era, I think it will be quite interesting.

It does make me think a bit of livejournal, with its little anecdotes, journal notes, lists, descriptions of people and other things...
