inner_stormI'm back from this professor... He doesn't want to promote the thesis as I suggested it. He thinks it's to 'easy', not profound enough. Damn... He wants to be my promotor but then I have to place the subject in a bigger framework... Like 'fantasy films in the past 20 years'... Blah...
He was friendly and stuff, and said he remembered our film analysis and that it was very good indeed, but that a thesis had to be a lot more. I know that, but I don't really feel like analyzing 10 fantasy movies and telling what's so typical about them, and why they're getting more popular again... You know... i find that a lot less profound then a fargoing analysis of the adaptation from novel to movie... But yeah... he didn't talk about the novel part any second. Guess he isn't really interested in that stuff... PPfff...
